yasmin : too many things, too little time

KUALA LUMPUR, Sat: Renowned film and advertising director Yasmin Ahmad died here at about 11.25 pm tonight. Her death was confirmed by Media Prime Group Chief Operations Officer Datuk Seri Ahmad Farid Ridzuan, who was at the Damansara Specialists Hospital, when contacted by Bernama. Yasmin, 51, collapsed while presenting a working paper at Sri Pentas, the headquarters of the private television station TV3 on Thursday and was rushed to the Damnsara Spe cialists Hospital. She was reported to have suffered a stroke and brain haemorrhage.

I browsed my photo albums and there you go, I still can remember being in the same hall as she talks about her view and ideologies on film scenario in Malaysia. She shared her opinions and thoughts with all of us, the Creative Technology students of UiTM.

Never thought that she will be that very down to earth and such a simple person with smiles...

khalid : 'there will be no more static shot in the movie!'
